Born in Beijing in 2007, Alice is a young aspiring pianist currently attending Sir Winston
Churchill Secondary School. Alice started learning piano at the age of 5. Through these 13 years of learning music, she has developed a profound passion for classical music and would like to pursue music as alifelong career.
When she was 8, Alice began john in VYPC, where she was given the opportunity to participate in numerous charity concerts. Presently, Alice has contributed to many heartwarming causes including those for the BC Children’s Hospital, Richmond Hospital, the North Wing Lions Gate Hospital, and the Kids Help Kids Charity Organization. One of Alice’s most memorable performances was in 2018 as she was invited to collaborate with the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Liu Peng) to perform Bach’s Piano Concerto in F Minor.
Alice is a member of the Steinway Young Artists Club and consistently performs in a variety of concerts with them. In July of 2022, Alice received the Steinway Challenge Cup Trophy, meaning she had successfully completed 6 concerts involving high difficulty pieces throughout the course of 2 years. She has also completed 2 solo recitals at Tom Lee, performing up to 50 minutes of challenging repertoire. Recently in 2023, Alice won 2 gold prizes from the 2023 Steinway Competition. As a result, she was invited to perform at Carnegie hall, New York, for the second time.
Alice is a Young Steinway Artist.
