Young Steinway Artist, Paul Wang, is a dedicated and compassionate pianist and a certified young piano teacher of RCM.
Paul has had a number of notable performance and accomplishments in his young career, including performing at Carnegie Hall when he was 6 and 7 years old. He has showcased his talents in prestigious venues across Canada, the United States, and Italy. Paul has collaborated with many orchestras such as the Philharmonia Northwest Orchestra in Seattle, the Perugia Orchestra in Italy, the Coquitlam Youth Orchestra in Coquitlam, BC, the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra and TMC Orchestra in Tacoma.
Paul has garnered numerous awards in national and international competitions. At the age of 9, Paul won the First Prize at the Canadian Music Competition in the 10-year-old category, and Paul is a youngest winner at 2019 Seattle Young Artists Music Festival Concerto Competition. He also achieved 1st Place at the US Music International Grand Prix, Young Artists Award at The GOCAA International Piano Competition, and Coquitlam Youth Orchestra Competition. Notably, Paul won Overall Awards at both of the 2023 Steinway Piano competition and Steinway Spirio/r Concerto Competition, he earned the Best Interpretation Compulsory Piece and Second Prize at the 2023 International Junior Orléans Piano Competition in France. Paul was also a laureate at the international competition Piano Neuchâtel Val de Travers 2023 in Switzerland. Recently, Paul won 1st Place at Chopin Foundation of the United States Northwest Council 2024 Concerto Competition and performed with orchestra in Seattle in June, 2024. In April 2025, Paul awarded Second Prize at the Viseu International Piano Competition (Youth Division).
As a young pianist, Paul has been dedicated to love, understanding, and cultural exchange since participating in VYPC in 2014. He actively gives back to the community through charitable events and fundraisers, organizing a personal charity concert in 2017. During the pandemic, he arranged online concerts for seniors to promote social interaction. In 2023, Paul founded the Lower Mainland Music Students Association (LMMSA). The association is committed to fostering musical growth and education among high school students while organizing charity concerts and community service events. Currently, the Lower Mainland Music Students Association is entirely run by high school students, boasting over 130 members and 10 clubs, and continues to grow steadily.

作为一名年轻的钢琴家，自2014 参加VYPC起， Paul就始终关注爱、理解与文化交融，并通过慈善活动和募捐积极回馈社区，并于2017年举办了一场个人慈善音乐会。在疫情期间为老年人组织了线上音乐会，以促进社交互动。2023年创立了低陆平原音乐学生协会（Lower Mainland Music Students Association）。该协会致力于促进高中生的音乐成长与教育，同时组织慈善音乐会和社区服务活动。目前，低陆平原音乐学生协会完全由高中生运营，拥有超过130名成员和10个俱乐部，并持续稳步发展。
