2012年5月，在CMTAC钢琴之星比赛中，获得3个奖杯和2个奖学金
2012年5月在UBC音乐厅，与新西敏交响乐队同台演出
2012年4月在加拿大全国音乐比赛中，成功通过市级和省级比赛选拔，7月将多伦多参加了全国总决赛。
2012年11月，13岁的Jiaxu Chang在国际Music Talent比赛中获得第1名，并获得组委会颁发的最高奖牌，在所有参加比赛的20多个国家选手中，她是唯一来自加拿大的钢琴获奖选手。11月26日在纽约卡内基音乐厅参加了颁奖演出。温哥华学校局VSB，Point Grey学校对Jiaxu (Maggie) Chang的获奖喜讯进行了报导。

March 2007, 7 years old, started learning piano
November 2007, won the Level 4 Platinum Award at the Richmond Music Festival, 2 first prizes, and was invited to participate in the award ceremony
June 2008, RCM Level 5 exam, scored 91 points
November 2008, SPG Festival, won a trophy and scholarship, 2 first places in level 6, and was invited to participate in the award performance
In June 2009, she took the RCM7 level exam and scored 92 points, and won the highest score medal and certificate from the Vancouver Association
In November 2010, she won the 8th level trophy in BCRMTA and was invited to participate in the award performance
In January 2011, she took the RCM8 level exam and scored 90 points
In April 2011, she participated in the NSMF competition and won two trophies and 3 first places in level 9, and was invited to participate in the award performance
In April 2011, she won a level 9 scholarship and 2 first places in the Kiwanis competition
In May 2012, she won 3 trophies and 2 scholarships in the CMTAC Piano Star Competition
In May 2012, she performed with the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra at the UBC Concert Hall
In April 2012, she successfully passed the city and provincial competitions in the Canadian National Music Competition, and participated in the national finals in Toronto in July.
In November 2012, 13-year-old Jiaxu Chang won first place in the International Music Talent Competition and received the highest medal from the organizing committee. She was the only Canadian piano winner among all the contestants from more than 20 countries. She attended the award ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York on November 26. The Vancouver School Board VSB and Point Grey School reported the good news of Jiaxu (Maggie) Chang's award.
After graduating from high school, she was admitted to the Rhode Island School of Design in the United States.
